Rules of Play

At Play Village, the safety and enjoyment of your children are our number one priority. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone.

If you decide to use our facility, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Safety First

Play is more fun when we look out for one another

Supervision: You as the parent or caregiver are responsible for your children at all times. Do not leave children unattended at any point.

Toy Supervision: While we’ve ensured the ‘Baby Kingdom’ room is free from small items, other rooms contain small parts. Supervise children closely, especially around small toys.

No Mouth Play: For safety reasons, toys should never be placed in the mouth. Toy food is for roleplay only. Monitor your children to ensure this rule is followed.

No Climbing on Furniture: Climbing on furniture or props is prohibited. The only deliberate climbing toy is the fire watch tower in the ‘Little Life Savers HQ’ room.

‘Baby Kingdom’: This room is exclusively for ages 0 – 2. There is no exception to this, even for older siblings. This is to ensure the safety of all the Play Village visitors. Please account for this when planning your journey.

Tidying up is part of the fun

We share our space with others so we make sure everyone can play

Tidy as You Play: Leave toys in their designated rooms and put them back before moving to another area. Other children should be able to enjoy playing during the session too.

End of Session Clean-Up: Each play session lasts 90-100 minutes. At the end of each session, we will play clean-up music for 5 minutes. During this time, return all toys to their places. After the music ends, leave the roleplay area to allow Play Village staff to setup for the next session. You are welcome to stay in the cafeteria as long as you like.

We love to keep it clean

Shoe-Free Zone: Play Village is a shoe-free facility. Remove your shoes in our cloakroom before entering the play area. We recommend always wearing ‘Grip Socks’. Sandals are provided for using the toilet.

No Food or Drink: Food and drinks are not allowed in the play area. All food should be consumed in the Cafeteria.

Disclaimer

Respectful Behaviour: Play Village is for everyone’s enjoyment. Please be polite. Fighting, bullying, and abusive language are not tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any point if the safety of other customers is threatened.

Incident Reporting: Although Play Village is designed to be safe, accidents can happen. Please inform us of any incidents, broken toys, or loose fixtures immediately so we can address them promptly. Leaving broken items for others to find is a health and safety hazard.

Liability for Damages: While accidents can happen, any malicious actions by children or adults resulting in damage to Play Village or its personnel will be subject to liability.

Personal Belongings: Play Village is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. Keep valuables with you.

These guidelines ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time at Play Village. Thank you for your cooperation!
